The National Institute of Nursing Research of NIH continues to shed light on the differences in how heart disease manifests itself in men and women. In addition to relating risk factors, it also reviews the subtle symptoms of heart attack in women. Attention is even given to women with chronic angina and women with Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). I especially like that there is a glossary of terms provided near the end of the article, as well as a list of factors that increase a woman's risk of heart disease. Excellent resource to print out and keep handy!
