This study documents results which reveal that asymptomatic individuals with sibling history of heart disease are more likely than those with just a parental history to develop early atherosclerosis. Recommendations are offered for preventive measures that should be taken by those who have siblings who have been diagnosed with early heart disease. If you, like me, have a family history of heart disease, whether parental or sibling, you will want to read this report!
